    The Heritage Trust of Greene County is hosting an unveiling festival "Windows to the Past" to feature two murals in downtown.  

  • Allen Johnson Day

    Saturday, June 8, will be observed as "Allen Johnson Day" in Greeneville and Greene County. Johnson and his race team will be honored with a public reception at the City Garage Car Museum from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., during which Johnson will "retire" his championship Mopar Dodge to the museum for display and will sign autographs.

  • History Camp at Doak House Museum

    Join the staff of the Doak House Museum for History Camp June 17-21.

  • Town of Greeneville’s 4th of July Celebration

         The Town of Greeneville announces plans for an elaborate downtown Fourth of July celebration featuring fireworks, a parade, entertainment, food, and children’s activities.
         “American Downtown” will be held in the afternoon and evening on Thursday, July 4, with most of the festivities planned for the Big Spring area behind the Greeneville-Greene County Library.
        

  • Amateur Athletic Union National Championships

    2013 AAU Golf National Championships at Link Hills Country Club. Shotgun start at 1 p.m. for official practice round. Entry fee is $145 per athlete age 8 and under, $175 for ages 10 and older.  Event features a long drive contest, chip  and putting contest, and official banquet.   Coach Bob Dibble from Tusculum College will be the speaker at the banquet and a $5,000 college scholarship will be awarded for a "hole in one" on hole 6 both days.  Please click below for application and more information.  

     

  • 2nd Annual Buggin’ For a Cure VW Car Show

    Buggin' for a Cure 2013 is an annual charitable benefit held in Greeneville TN, at the Greene County Fairgrounds. Sept. 7 - 8, 2013. 

     

  • Tourism Hospitality Training Seminar

    The Tourism Department of the Greene County Partnership will be hosting a hospitality training seminar on Wednesday, September 11, at the Comfort Inn of Greeneville.  The seminars will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The title of the seminar is “Give ‘Em The Pickle” and the seminars will focus on “the power of your voice,” “creating a positive image,” and “handling customer complaints.”  

  • Tennessee Association of Museums Annual Conference

    Greeneville will host the 2014 Tennessee Association of Museums Conference at the General Morgan Inn.
