Marketing & Social Media Workshop sponsored by Tourism
The tourism department of the Greene County Partnership will be hosting a “Marketing and Social Media” workshop on Thursday, Aug. 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Kathryn W. Leonard Administrative Building. They will be offering an Integrated Marketing Solution for businesses of all types.
An integrated marketing solution combines multiple avenues of advertising, such as: print, direct marketing, email, digital, and social media, to ensure that your marketing message is consistently received by the greatest possible number of people in your market
Rick Keller, Managing Director of Summit Marketing, will discuss how to have a clear vision of who your target audience is, picking the channels that work best for your or business or organization, how to have a consistent look, and more. You will get a better understanding of how important it is to have a cohesive look and feel throughout your brand messaging.
In the second half if the session, Keller will discuss Social Media and Search Engine Marketing. Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
Topics Keller will address include: Social Media Topics • Importance of Branding • Developing a Social Media Plan • How to Make Social Media Ads Work for Your Business • Conversation will emphasize Facebook while including other platforms.

The cost of the workshop, including morning refreshments and lunch, is $49.99 a person, $40.00 for two to four people or $29.99 with five or more.
