Storytelling is and has been paramount to human connection and culture since the dawn of civilization. It reveals inner worlds, insights, values, powerful emotions and complex thoughts. It captivates, motivates, and entertains listeners and readers. People who feel the need to write their stories are a kind of magician and their golden wands are words.

Do you have stories or books inside you begging to reach the wide world of readers, or are you a writer seeking more motivation and professional insight into the New York publishing world?

Jerry Ellis and Debi Holmes-Binney love to help authors and aspiring writers make their dreams come true in an unforgettable atmosphere of fun, excitement, respect, and compassion.

Ellis was the first person in the modern world to walk the 900-mile route of the Cherokee Trail of Tears, and his resulting book, Walking the Trail, was nominated by Random House for a Pulitzer Prize. The author of nine books, he has written forThe New York Times. He has had four plays produced. He has lectured in Asia, Africa, Europe, and throughout the USA.

Debi Holmes-Binney, a guest author on The Oprah Winfrey Show, will reveal how she overcame mountainous challenges to write her book, Desert Sojourn, and get it published in three languages. The book chronicles her forty days and nights alone on a Thoreau-like spiritual quest in the Great Salt Lake Desert in the harsh winter after building her own shelter. She will focus her talk on writing true-life stories and books about one's own family and the rewards and complications that result.

The Seminar far exceeds how to get a literary agent and the nuts, and bolts of writing and storytelling. It will inform, motivate, and inspire.

The $100 fee includes lunch. One must kindly prepay by check or money order by August 20th and please mail to: Jerry Ellis, 309 N. Main Street, Greeneville, TN 37745. Questions? Please email: Jerry and Debi are excited to meet you!
